988 provides free, confidential support 24/7 no matter what you’re struggling with. Trained crisis counselors can also connect you to other resources. 988 even has supports for veterans, Spanish speakers, LGBTQI+ youth and young adults, and for those who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.

Mental Wellness Support

Find services and resources to help with mental health and substance use concerns.

  • Find a Mental Health Program  - Use the Office of Mental Health’s search tool for mental health programs by county, program, or category.
  • Find an Addiction Provider or Program – Use the Office of Addiction Services and Supports search tool to find treatment and prevention programs for substance use, impaired driving, and problem gambling.
  • Find a Mental Health Support Group – Use the New York State National Alliance on Mental Illness’ search tool to find mental health support groups for people living with mental illness and for their family and friends.
  • Find a Support Group for Mental Health, Drugs, and Alcohol – Find a support group through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Talking with people who have dealt with similar issues can help a lot. There are support groups available for many issues.
